Do a lot of people wear purple tights with their witch costumes at Halloween? I always associate purple tights with Halloween, and that's the only reason I can come up with...

I'm actually wearing this dress backwards, but I think it works better that way for this type of layering, don't you? The deep V open back would be super cute without anything under it. It just suits the tuxedo shirt detailing of this blouse better to flip it around. Let this be a lesson that Kris Kross weren't completely devoid of usable fashion ideas. Jump!

    I honestly love this look! I'm always tossing sweaters over my dresses, but I never think to layer a top underneath. Looks great, and the tights too!

      I used to always layer cardigans over dresses, but last year I started layering blouses underneath a lot. Let's call it a tribute to my Catholic school days :)

    haha--when I first saw the outfit pictures, I was thinking, wow, that dress really wasn't made to work without a layer underneath because the V-neck is so very low! It makes more sense now that I know you turned it around! I love all the colors you paired!
