The Arboretum

We took a trip out to the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Arcadia on Saturday. First of all (and you're probably pretty sick of me saying this), the weather was amazing. I'd been cooped up in an office all week while the weather got progressively nicer, so it was great to be able to spend the afternoon outside! The animals, especially the fat squirrels, seem to have no fear of humans here, so it was really easy to get close to them and take good pictures. Seriously, I doubt those squirrels can even climb trees anymore. People have obviously been feeding them too much!

Daylight savings kicks in next weekend, so after that I should be able to start taking outfit photos after work a couple days per week. It'll be so nice to leave the office while it's still light outside!

  1. Gorgeous photos! I love the peacocks - they remind me of my honeymoon in Jamaica where they were everywhere!

  3. Arg. I miss the sun. Haha. I still can't believe there are places in this country that are not completely covered in snow and perpetually overcast. :F I need to find a better place to live. Heh.

I've never seen a peacock in person. What a beautiful photo. Yeah, I'm weird. I had my first root beer float a couple years ago. Yep. I also broke my first pinata last summer. Yep. Haha. I could keep going. The list of things I have not done that normal people have already put behind them is staggering.

Oh and I finally got around to styling that kick ass sweater I bought from you last Fall! I did a blog post about it. Thanks again for the great purchase! I'm pretty sure it will not be the last. :P
